Stray Kids have put up massive first-week numbers in back-to-back years.
Stray Kids’ THIS & THAT has officially debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with a massive 369,000 first-week units.
The eight-track project becomes the biggest Billboard 200 debut of Stray Kids’ career, surpassing their previous high with KARMA, which opened with 313,000 units. It also marks their ninth consecutive No. 1 album, an absolutely ridiculous run that continues to separate them from their peers.
The accomplishment is even bigger when you look at the history behind it. With nine No. 1 albums, Stray Kids are now tied with Taylor Swift for the most Billboard 200 No. 1 albums by any artist in the 2020s, with nine each. They also officially become the first act in Billboard 200 history to debut their first nine charting albums at No. 1.
The group also remains the K-pop act with the most No. 1 albums in Billboard 200 history. Stray Kids now sit at nine, followed by BTS with seven and ATEEZ with three. Meanwhile, “RUN IT” has emerged as one of the biggest highlights from THIS & THAT, while the entire project has shown strong streaming momentum since its release.
To put the growth into perspective, KARMA debuted with 313,000 units, including 296,000 pure album sales. Now, THIS & THAT has opened with 369,000 units, representing a 56,000-unit increase from their previous project. That is a massive jump for an act that was already operating at an elite level.
It’s safe to say Stray Kids have become one of the biggest acts in music, and numbers like these only reinforce that point. In an era where album sales can be shaky, increasing your first-week projection this significantly is a phenomenal sign.
At 369k units, Stray Kids has cracked the top 10 for biggest first-week Billboard 200 debuts of 2026.
The kids are clearly not slowing down.
