Drake Teases New Music With “FEAR OF MISSING OUT” Instagram Post

Can we be getting a fourth Drake album this year?

Drake has fans wondering if another project is on the way after his latest Instagram post featured the words “FEAR OF MISSING OUT.”

The post itself is pretty cryptic. Drake shared a picture of what appears to be some kind of square object, and I’m not even going to pretend I know what it is (UPDATE: It’s a jewel CD case (Duh, Q). Thanks to Jix in the comments for pointing this out. I need some coffee). When you combine this with the camera emoji he used in the caption, it throws out more hints than a girl at the club playing with her hair while she talks to you.

It’s safe to say Drake has bounced back from the coffin people tried to put him in these past few years. He’s arguably having one of his best years ever, with ICEMAN becoming one of the highest-selling albums of the year, while also standing as hip-hop’s highest-selling album. Somehow, he also found time to release HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR, which also had strong debuts.

Drake has remained everywhere, too, whether through entertaining social media posts, bizarre livestreams, or major public appearances like the World Cup final. Now, another project could join the pile.

The clues have been coming out the wazoo. We’ve seen Drake recording music in a house on Instagram, heard talk of Scary Hours 4 from his affiliates, and now we have this cryptic post arriving just one day after his collaboration with The Game leaked online.

At this point, I’m ready for another Drake album. The bigger question is whether this run could eventually be considered one of hip-hop’s most dominant ever.
