ENHYPEN finally reach the Billboard 200 summit, giving their growing U.S. success an important new milestone.
ENHYPEN have officially earned their first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with THE SIN : BLISS. The six-track project debuted at No. 1 with 98,000 equivalent album units in the U.S., including 92,000 pure album sales and 6.9 million on-demand streams.
That makes this a pretty significant milestone for the group. THE SIN : BLISS features songs including “Bloody Paradise” and “Bad For You,” and its streaming performance has been strong across the board. Every song had already surpassed 2.8 million streams on Spotify, showing just how much attention the release received from ENHYPEN’s fanbase.
The 98,000-unit debut is also interesting because ENHYPEN have been hovering around this range with their recent releases. ROMANCE : UNTOLD opened with 124,000 units in the U.S., while THE SIN : VANISH followed with 122,000. DESIRE : UNLEASH opened with 100,000.
Yet none of those projects reached No. 1. Now, THE SIN : BLISS has pulled it off despite posting a first week below the group’s previous highs. It’s a pretty interesting reminder that chart position isn’t always about having your biggest numbers ever. Sometimes, the competition simply lines up in your favor.
Either way, ENHYPEN have officially checked off a major U.S. milestone. THE SIN : BLISS gives them their first Billboard 200 No. 1 and adds another impressive achievement to their growing résumé.
