Quavo Reveals October Release Date for New Album “QRÖME LIFE”

Pharrell has quietly become hip-hop’s career-rejuvenation specialist.

Quavo is officially ready to begin his next chapter. The former Migos member has announced that his new solo album, QRÖME LIFE, will arrive on October 2, with Pharrell Williams producing the entire project.

As much as we have heard from Quavo during the past few years, this will be his first solo album since 2023’s Rocket Power. That project served as a heartfelt tribute to his late nephew and Migos partner Takeoff. One of its most notable tracks was “Turn Yo Clic Up,” a hard-hitting collaboration with Future.

We have already heard a preview of Quavo’s next era through “Trance (Walk It Down).” The Pharrell-produced single tapped into Quavo’s creative side, pairing his melodic delivery with energetic, club-ready production. It also showed that this collaboration could push Quavo outside his usual musical comfort zone.

Next up is “BACKWARDS,” a new single featuring fellow Atlanta legend T.I. The track is scheduled to arrive this Friday, giving listeners another taste of what QRÖME LIFE may sound like.

Pharrell has also been enjoying a creative renaissance lately. After helping shape Clipse’s excellent album Let God Sort Em Out, he contributed to Lil Baby’s popular track “Dead Fresh” and reportedly has even more major collaborations on the way.

A full Quavo album produced by Pharrell is exciting enough on paper. I’ll definitely be tuned in on October 2.
