Rod Wave joins an exclusive group after placing more than 100 songs on the Billboard Hot 100.

Rod Wave has officially joined one of Billboard’s most exclusive clubs.

Following the release of his new album, Don’t Look Down, the Florida rapper and singer has surpassed 100 career entries on the Billboard Hot 100. With 14 songs making their chart debuts this week, Rod’s official career total now stands at 107 entries. That puts him ahead of JAŸ-Z and tied with Beyoncé… Wow.

The achievement makes Rod Wave only the 24th artist in Hot 100 history to place at least 100 songs on the chart. It further illustrates how remarkably consistent he has been since breaking through with “Heart on Ice” in 2019. That song peaked at No. 25 and introduced mainstream listeners to his emotional combination of hip-hop, soul, and R&B.

Since then, Rod has regularly flooded the Hot 100 whenever he releases an album. All 18 songs from Nostalgia entered the chart in 2023, while another 18 tracks from Last Lap appeared in 2024. Don’t Look Down now adds 16 charting songs to that impressive history, including 14 new entries.

The milestone arrives during an enormous week for Rod Wave. Don’t Look Down also debuted atop the Billboard 200 with 99,000 equivalent album units, becoming his fourth No. 1 project.

Interestingly, Rod reached 107 Hot 100 entries without scoring a top 10 hit. That’s almost impossible to do. Whatever the case may be, Rod could retire happily with all that he’s achieved.
