Trill Mac Delivers a Vulnerable Melodic Rap Confession With “Time To Heal”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

A painfully honest reminder that two people can share trauma without sharing the same emotional instruction manual.

Never take a rapper who is willing to get vulnerable for granted. Trill Mac is one of those artists who does not mind opening his chest and letting listeners see what is happening inside. On his latest single, “Time To Heal,” he keeps it 1000 while showing the world his heart.

“Time To Heal” features moody production with a helluva knock and a crying sample that might have you wondering who’s cutting onions in the other room. Frfr, that sample is about 50% of the reason you’ll remain glued to the track.

Despite keeping his voice raw and hefty (pause), Trill Mac weaves infectious singing into his performance as he glides through the verses with a slippery flow. Lyrically, he reflects on being in a similar mental state to the woman he is dealing with. The difference is that they process those emotions differently, creating tension between two people who probably understand each other more than they realize.

It is some real s**t when you stop and think about it. All in all, “Time To Heal” delivers a vibe worth appreciating and bars that feel as honest as they come.
