Some tracks are infectiously catchy in the best way. DND has delivered one of them.

DND is a five-piece Latin boy band formed by Lionfish Entertainment and Pharrell Williams. Their major debut was on Univision’s Premios Juventud in Marbella, Spain. The group features Javi (Venezuela), Isaac (Bronx), Emiliano (Chile), Lacayo (Miami), and Emilio (Puerto Rico). In “Too Good,” an upbeat track produced by Pharrell, I can see why these guys were chosen.

“Too Good” is immediately irresistible. The bass has an infectious groove, and the vocals are really good. There are impressive falsetto moments, solid belting, and fun riffs from various members. Their voices sound great together—they blend super well while being distinct. They’re also very in sync when they dance together in the video, and you can tell that they have great chemistry as a group.

Pharrell is a great producer, so it was no surprise that the production on this track was fantastic. It goes in various places, but always stays infectiously catchy, and it is undeniably a unified track. The bass stands out, as well as the seamless vocal production and interesting panning.

This is DND’s first release under their new deal with 10K Projects / Atlantic Music Group.

I love a song that’s just fun. It makes you want to get up and dance. There aren’t many boy bands outside of K-pop anymore who regularly release new music, so it’s fun to see a Latin boy band. I’m looking forward to more music from them, because this was a great time.
