5. Backwards
“Backwards” is a single and the opening track of this album, and it sets the tone for sure. This track is hype as hell. Just full send, big energy from the jump. They’re repping ATL, talking the big talk, and it’s honestly intoxicating.
I wouldn’t have expected T.I. with Quavo, but if it works, it works. The two bring a larger-than-life energy to the track that immediately lets you know exactly what kind of album you’re about to get into.
4. Trance
“Trance” is another single from the album, and it’s probably one of the catchiest tracks on the album. The song is about strippers, baddies, dancers, and the way their bodies move. It’s about the way hours can pass without you even realizing it because the women you’re watching have you completely hypnotized.
It’s so experienced, confident, and genuinely fun and silly. There’s no overthinking it. It’s just a damn good time.
3. HAOYU DEWDAT
I said that “Trance” might’ve been the catchiest song on QRÖMELIFE, but “HAOYU DEWDAT” may have it tied. Yung Miami goes in on this track, y’all, and I love the dynamic that she adds here.
The beat is so bouncy and playful, the hook makes you wanna sing it loud, and it’s all good feelings over here. Yung Miami slides into the track naturally, giving it that extra bit of attitude that makes it even more fun.
2. Thick In The Mirror
This song feels more serious than it actually is, and I kinda mess with it. “Thick In The Mirror” is dramatic and feels a little cinematic, but the theatrics add to the plot well.
It tells a story of an absolute baddie looking hella good and getting ready for a night out. Quavo is the hype man in this one, talking her up with aggressively flirty energy. The whole thing feels like watching somebody get ready for the biggest night of their life, except the soundtrack is Quavo hyping them up from the corner.
1. Baby Breath
“Baby Breath” is another heavy-hitting, larger-than-life track. Featuring Pharrell, Tyler, The Creator, and A$AP Rocky, it’s like the vibes are never ending. It’s fast-paced, confident, and smooth as hell.
Tyler had me giggling and kicking my feet, as usual. No surprise there. Everyone else matches the energy perfectly, making this one of those tracks where there’s so much personality packed into it that you can’t help but have a good time.

RGM RATING
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Rating: 4 out of 5.Quavo’s QRÖMELIFE is seriously unserious. I mean that in the very best way. It’s so playful, y’all. If the track isn’t making me laugh and giving me energy, it’s making me wanna twerk on a car. There is no middle ground.
And honestly, I think that’s part of what makes this album work. Quavo isn’t trying to make every moment deep or emotionally devastating. Sometimes you just want to turn the music up, feel yourself, talk a little sh*t, and have a damn good time. QRÖMELIFE understands the assignment.
Sonically, QRÖMELIFE is straight hip-hop. Full energy, big beats, no-nonsense hip-hop. The album has plenty of feature artists, including Lil Baby, Justin Timberlake, Future, Yung Miami, Pharrell, Tyler, The Creator, A$AP Rocky, and T.I., but even Quavo’s solo tracks are fast-paced and full of life.
What I really enjoy is how consistent the energy stays without making every song feel identical. There are different flavors throughout the album, but they all belong to the same world. The production keeps things moving, the features add their own personalities, and Quavo is clearly having fun with the whole thing.
Some albums make you want to settle in for the evening with a glass of wine. Other albums make you wanna get butt naked nasty. QRÖMELIFE is for the streets. It makes you wanna go outside.
And honestly? That’s what makes it so thrilling. This is an album for getting dressed up, meeting your friends, riding around with the windows down, hitting the function, and seeing where the night takes you. It doesn’t ask you to sit still. It practically drags you out the front door by your wrist.
QRÖMELIFE is loud, playful, confident, ridiculous, and completely committed to having a good time. Sometimes that’s all you need.
