Jae Prophecy and Boosie Badazz Join Forces on “My Big Dog”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Boosie Badazz sounds deranged on this track, and I like it.

Jae Prophecy has officially made his triumphant return to music with a 20-track project titled THC 4.20: The Hunger Continues. Throughout the project, the Bronx-born independent artist attacks several high-energy beats with animated performances, confident writing, and the hunger of someone determined to make noise again.

One track gaining traction is “My Big Dog,” a collaboration with Boosie Badazz that cranks the project’s intensity up several notches. The production is riveting, combining chilling piano notes, enormous bass, and menacing trap energy that sounds ready to rattle every loose object in your car.

Boosie is responsible for taking the record completely over the edge. He attacks the beat with his unmistakable animated delivery, provides the cussing, and hits us with lyrics about struggling to trust people and moving differently because of everything he has experienced.

Jae Prophecy keeps pace without copying his guest. He works through several precise flows, raps with genuine tenacity, and reflects on the decisions he has made while trying to move through life correctly. His controlled performance creates a strong contrast with Boosie’s eruption.

As explosive as this track is, it’s important that you don’t miss the messages being delivered. Listen for yourself below.
