Rob49 gotta be hella fun to hang around.
Doesn’t it feel like Rob49 is living life to the fullest? He avoids beef, plenty of people f**k with him, and he always sounds excited as hell whenever he jumps on a track. Life must still be treating him well because “GIRLS GIRL” sounds like another celebration.
The song is powered by a fire beat that would go crazy during the two-minute drill at a packed club. As for Rob49, he takes a calmer approach than usual. Instead of attacking the production with his most aggressive flows, he settles into a melodic pocket and lets his personality control the room.
His flow feels effortless, his delivery sounds relaxed, and the hook gives the record a memorable center. Lyrically, Rob talks about maintaining a wide assortment of women, including some who are also interested in women. Naturally, managing that lineup comes with headaches, but he sounds willing to accept the consequences.
When your girl has a girlfriend, you are at a level of demon time that is hard to emulate.
Quincy is the creator of Ratings Game Music. He loves writing about music, taking long walks on beaches, and spaghetti that fights him back.
