Teezo Touchdown Introduces ‘Casting Call’ With “HONEYMOON NIGHT”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

So, folks don’t go home exhausted after their wedding?

I f**k with Teezo Touchdown a lot. What makes his career interesting is that he has succeeded more as a glue guy on other artists’ tracks than as a solo act. Whenever somebody needs personality, strange melodies, or theatrical energy, Teezo usually provides it. Still, I believe he has everything required to thrive on his own.

Soon, Teezo will release a new album called Casting Call, and its first single, “HONEYMOON NIGHT,” has reached streaming services.

The instrumentation creates the atmosphere of a grown-ass prom night. The choosing portion of the evening is finished, everybody knows who they are leaving with, and the playbook is beginning to open. Though it sounds romantic, it also sounds lit.

Teezo delivers an incredibly dynamic performance. In certain moments, he turns the passion all the way up. In others, he embraces his nastier side, eventually transforming into an aspiring pimp near the track’s conclusion. Every change feels like part of a performance rather than a random vocal decision.

Lyrically, “HONEYMOON NIGHT” focuses on admiring everything a crush offers, from her body to her soul. The chorus is outstanding, the production carries a serious vibe, and Teezo’s acting is phenomenal.
