Olivia Rodrigo’s third album adds another reported sales milestone to her impressive run.
Olivia Rodrigo is putting together a pretty ridiculous streak.
Her latest album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, has reportedly surpassed 2 million total units in the United States, adding another major commercial milestone to her resume. That figure includes album sales and streaming equivalents, rather than strictly copies purchased.
The project, which boasts tracks such as “drop dead,” “the cure,” and “stupid song,” is behind Morgan Wallen’s I’m The Problem, Ella Langley’s Dandelion, and Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide in sales. It will be a tall task to catch any of them, but at the end of the day, being in that conversation confirms she’s been killing it.
The project follows her other two multiplatinum efforts, SOUR and GUTS, continuing a run that has already made Rodrigo one of pop’s biggest names. If you don’t have her as one of the giants in the game, I don’t know what will.
