A warm melodic escape that pairs gentle vocals with reflections on self-worth and emotional release.
Do you know what’s amazing about life? Summer might be over, but mentally, you can still get there whenever you feel like it. Hushbaby’s latest single, “Around,” featuring Austn Joseph, is the soundtrack for that escape. No flight confirmation needed. Just press play and stop checking your emails.
The track features smooth production that should transport you to the most private island in your vicinity. Hushbaby and Austn Joseph match it with gentle, infectious vocals that settle naturally into the beat.
Lyrically, “Around” touches on shining bright, understanding your worth, and releasing pain. I like that the song has some emotional weight without losing the easygoing feel that makes it appealing. It’s personal, but you can still let it play while your mind wanders somewhere with better scenery.
I love the chorus and the vibes. This is a soulful little reminder that summer doesn’t have to end when the calendar says so.
