“A Friend of Ours 2” gives Benny the Butcher another opportunity to deliver a defining project.

Benny the Butcher has another project on the way. According to the announcement shared, A Friend of Ours 2 arrives November 13, giving fans another reason to keep their calendars open.

Benny is one of those rappers with so many releases that keeping up requires a little homework. There are solo projects, collaborations, EPs, and producer partnerships. The music keeps coming, but not every drop feels like the next major chapter.

Personally, Everybody Can’t Go was the last Benny project that felt like a particularly big event to me. The prominent guests and overall presentation gave it that feeling. I’m hoping A Friend of Ours 2 brings a similar sense of occasion while keeping the sharp rapping front and center.

It has already been a busy year. Benny released Ashes in the Safe with Fuego Base and Black Soprano Family, alongside The Plugs I Met: Anniversary Edition. This upcoming release adds another title to that schedule.

As a Benny fan, I’m looking forward to hearing what he has planned. Give me purposeful production, detailed writing, and performances that demand another listen.

Benny rarely leaves us short on bars. This time, I’m hoping the whole project feels like essential listening.
