REASON is real as s**t.
REASON has become one of the most underrated, underappreciated artists in the game. Every time he drops, it feels like he gives us something meaningful while showing versatility and delivering quality music. His latest single, “I Got Problems,” keeps that streak going.
The track features cold production with a nice rhythm and eerie elements that make the whole thing feel unsettling. It gives REASON the right backdrop to discuss his gang ties, rough upbringing, and problems that don’t disappear just because somebody tells you to stay positive. He sounds aware of how difficult escaping those circumstances can be, but there’s still a determination to get somewhere better.
What I really appreciate is how much emotion he brings to the performance. There’s fire, despair, and grit in his delivery, with steady flows keeping the story moving. The hook also sticks, giving you something memorable without taking away from the weight of his words.
All in all, “I Got Problems” is an introspective banger. REASON gives you something to nod your head to and something worth hearing while you do.
