Hanna Andréa Embraces Self-Acceptance With “Braveheart (Acoustic)”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Have you ever stood up and applauded after listening to a track? I did just that after listening to Hanna Andréa’s “Braveheart.”

Trying to be perfect sounds exhausting. The extremely talented Hanna Andréa explores that pressure on “Braveheart (Acoustic),” a reworking of her original song built around acoustic guitar, lead and backing vocals, and new vocal runs. For Hanna fans, this follows a busy 2026, including a six-track EP called Braveheart.

James Conner provides the guitar, production, and mix, while Hanna handles the vocal layers. The acoustic-pop arrangement brings her singing forward, making the performance and the writing the main focus. It’s a setting that suits a song concerned with what happens when outside expectations start shaping how you see yourself.

The lyrics address perfectionism, the pressure to fit a mold, and the importance of recognizing progress. Sometimes, you’re improving and still treating yourself like you failed the assignment. The song beautifully encourages a little more patience with that process.

“Braveheart (Acoustic)” has it all: a stunning vocal performance, a beautiful backdrop, and lyrics that remind you you’re allowed to appreciate who you are while continuing to grow.
