Slayyyter is back with “hey boyyy,” and I was hyped from the very first second. The track is electric and high-energy, giving us grungy punk and electro-pop vibes that make it nearly impossible to sit still. From start to finish, I felt like I was at an underground rave at 4 in the morning. You know, the kind of night where you should’ve called an Uber two hours ago, but here you are, still crashing out on the dance floor like you have absolutely no responsibilities tomorrow.
Lyrically, the track is about falling for someone at full speed. Everything feels overwhelming and obsessive, but in the most exciting, lively, and fun way possible. There’s an almost reckless quality to the infatuation, like getting swept up in the moment and having zero interest in slowing down. Slayyyter captures that feeling perfectly, matching the track’s chaotic energy with a playful sense of urgency.
