Consequence – Ask Somebody (Review & Stream)

Consequence dropped a new track with Ty Dolla Sign and Tony Yayo today called ‘Ask Somebody’. What a random ass collaboration.

This song samples ‘Ain’t No N–a’ by Jay-Z ‘Seven minutes of funk’, a beat that I absolutely love!

Consequence puts up a pretty good verse, as he stays on the beat really well. Dude can rap ya’ll! Don’t forget about his debut album ‘College Dropout’!

Tony Yayo sounds like he’s on the verge of throwing up throughout his verse; VERY GOOD hype man for the song though.

Ty Dolla Sign gives a very unenthusiastic chorus. He simply sounds like he doesn’t want to be there.

How did this trio get together to make a song? They must’ve got stuck on an elevator something.

OVERALL RATINGĀ (3.7/5)
