Denzel Curry and Kenny Beats are officially opening the door to another chapter of their acclaimed collaboration.

Denzel Curry and Kenny Beats are officially bringing UNLOCKED back.

The duo previously had fans wondering if UNLOCKED 2 was on the way after sharing a video of themselves walking through the mountains while talking about legacy, reaching their goals, and building something that lasts. Now, we have an actual piece of music attached to the rollout.

Denzel Curry and Kenneth Blume, better known as Kenny Beats, are set to release a new single called “DIFFERENCE” tonight, featuring Yebba. The track is being billed as a single from UNLOCKED II, which pretty much confirms that another chapter of their collaboration is coming.

That’s a pretty big deal considering how well Denzel and Kenny worked together on UNLOCKED in 2020. They followed that up with UNLOCKED 1.5 in 2021, which reworked songs from the original project and featured Benny The Butcher, Joey Bada$$, Smino, The Alchemist, and more.

Denzel has remained busy since then, most recently releasing Strictly 4 The Schythe, while Kenny Beats has continued making noise behind the boards, including his work on Rico Nasty’s RX.

Now, “DIFFERENCE” gives us the first real taste of what UNLOCKED II could sound like. And considering what these two created the first time around, I’m definitely curious to see where they take it next.

UNLOCKED II is officially looking real now.
