Katy Perry – Chained To The Rhythm (Review & Stream)

Katy Perry makes some really good music guys, she just doesn’t make music very often… This track called ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ featuring Skip Marley is a really good track to begin that comeback with.

You know what? More than anything, this track is safe: it relies on its rhythm to catch the listeners ears, along with a very sing-along friendly chorus and verse.

It doesn’t matter which Marley it is, I’m just f–kin’ with that accent slime.

I wasn’t a huge fan of this one, I thought the chorus was kind of weak? What do you think?

I thought she kept it really safe on the chorus (which is a good thing). It’ll be something that will be catchy enough to stick. I love your opinion though! It’s interesting to hear another perspective.

There’s definitely catchy parts for sure! I just felt like the way she says “to the rhythm” felt weird. Almost like there were too many syllables that didn’t fit in the beat haha
