Mick Jenkins created a song called ‘energies’, and it has absolutely no energy (Surprise, surprise!).
I loved Mick Jenkins last album, but since then he’s been pretty quiet. Today, Mick tip toes back to the scene, dropping this new whirl-winding track called ‘Energies’.
I personally do not like this song much, but I do know it is along the lines of what Mick usually drops. On it, he sounds a bit delusional, effectively speaking his swamping lyrics to his listeners. As usual, his words are very wise, and as burly as it gets.
Saba drops this tongue-twisting verse that almost sounds robotic to me. It’s not the most appealing, but it does fit the track well.
Mehhhhhhhhh.
