Lloyd Banks continues dropping freestyles, and this one might be his toughest.
Lloyd Banks is so NY, so it’s fitting that he raps over another NY legends classic instrumental. With respect to Raekwon and what he was able to do with the original version of this beat, Banks may have turned the song into something more lyrical, hammering home several different punchlines and fierce wordplay on his verse. It’s almost like the Queens rapper tried to squeeze in months of pent up lyrics into one song, resulting in something that sounds like it’s on the verge of exploding every second.
