Dave East – Family Feud (Ft. Don Q) (Review & Stream)

Two of New Yorkers hottest rappers unite for “Family Feud.”

Rumor has it, Dave East is prepping to release a joint project with Don Q in the near future. Today, it looks like we get a preview of that project, as Dave decided to release his EASTMIX version of Jay’s “Family Feud” track featuring the Harlem native.

As you would expect, Dave takes full advantage of the soulful “Family Feud” beat, dropping a few bars revolved around his reckless ways when it comes to how he treats his women. The verse is solid, but definitely ignores Beyonce’s plea for peace that you hear in the background.

As much as I like Dave East’s verse, I think Don Q actually beats him here. Something about his verse flows really well, as it feels like he simply closed his eyes and went in. I’m definitely starting to enjoy Q’s grittiness on the mic.
