Jhene – Sativa (Remix) (Ft. Slim Jxmmi) (Review & Stream)

 

Jhene adds our guy Slim Jxmmi to her remix to ‘Sativa.’

I’m not sure Jhene’s “Trip” album got the credit it deserved when it came out… I feel like the album contained a myriad of hits, and those hits were well thought out, infectious, and pretty good vocally. On that album, one of her stand out hits was “Sativa,” a track that contains Jhene getting lost in this dreamy instrumental. Today, the California-based singer decided to add my favorite angel in the rap game to the remix of it (Slim Jxmmi), and his little contribution is probably what the track needed to sound complete.

The chemistry on this song is great!
