Tee Grizzley finally drops his remix to “First Day Out” with Meek Mill.
I feel like Meek Mill was meant to be on this track: The instrumental has a helluva build up, it also has some riveting piano play on it, and there is a lot of street energy attached to it. On his verse, the Philly rapper doesn’t disappoint, reminding people why he is the cities Pac by dropping this intense verse centered around his hunger to succeed. If you are a fan of his, you will think this was a vintage verse from him.
I may not be the biggest Tee Grizzley fan, but I do respect the hell out of his hood credentials. On this song, he keeps it real with folks, outlining a couple of accomplishments he’s achieved these last couple of years while discussing a few things he’ll do to avoid slipping up. It’s a dope ass verse from him, as he finds a way to match Meek’s energy perfectly (Which is hard to do).
I like them as a duo!
