What should and can I say??? Well, first and foremost, before this track I was not familiar with Sango as an artist but I am now. I actually confused “Sango” with “Sanyo”…thinking to myself – “How the hell is a technology company releasing a song??” Needless to say, with the amount of electromagnetic frequencies flowing throughout this track, I was only partially incorrect.

On “Emotional,” Sango fuses Afro beats, EDM and the hard knocking hip hop sounds of today (You can hear the 808s hitting pretty hard on this one), so to say that Production-wise there is a lot happening is an understatement. Kendrick-wise, you can hear Kendrick Lamar using his verse on “New Freezer” to set the tone on this track. New Freezer is a smash on its own, so reliving the highlight of that verse mixed with this production is a win-win.

If you’re not paying close attention, you’ll completely miss Travis Scott’s vocals on this one. (Or maybe that was me listening for a sign of life from him?) Is it too much to ask for a “Straight up”, “It’s lit” or even a “Pop it, Pop it” these days? Anyway, I like how Sango used the Black Panther track, “Big Shot,” as a canvas to paint this piece of art.

If this track doesn’t make your heart rate increase by at least 30 BPM’s, you my friend might be a robot.
