I would take Asher Roth vs. any one of your favorite MC’s in a rap battle.
The lyrical output that you get from Ash on this track is purely remarkable! Even though the beat has this uninspired sound, Asher makes it come alive with some impressive wordplay. (Which comes out so effortlessly from him) I’m not sure the “I Love College” creator would ever make that major return to the scene in 2018, but I can tell you that his rap skills won’t be the reason he doesn’t.
