Royce Da 5’9 – Dumb (Review & Stream)

Royce Da 5’9 continues to impress me with his new music.

Royce Da 5’9 has been the most consistent rapper this year thus far, continuously dropping gems that feature outstanding wordplay, impressive punchlines, and solid flows. In “Dumb,” our hero raps over this Cali inspired instrumental that knocks hard and draws listeners in with its infectious piano notes.

Boogie (Not A Boogie Wit The Hoodie) has the second verse, and he provides the track with something gritty. Believe it or not, I think he fits the track more than Royce does, as he pumps some soul to it.

OVERALL RATING (4.5/5)
