Rob Ashley translates his vulnerabilities into a touching blues song in “The Drugs Didn’t Last Forever”

Music is art, and sometimes the idea of art can exude emotions that have been hiding in your soul for years. I feel like these are the sentiments that drive “The Drugs Didn’t Last Forever.” Accompanied by this bluesy instrumental, Rob Ashley gets a chance to do lots of soul searching. What I love most about the song is that it’s honest, authentic, and for those who are facing challenges similar to Rob in their life, very relatable.
