I wouldn’t go on date with Azealia Banks (This has nothing to do with the song, it’s just something that was randomly in my head).
I’ll be the first to tell you that Azealia Banks is a talented artist. It just seems like she always finds a way to have her music get overshadowed by some outlandish act or reckless tweet. With that being said, in “Treasure Island,” she lives up to her potential, giving us this highly energetic track that blends several genres together to make it to the finish line. Banks does just about everything on the track — passionately — which makes the song feel even more impressive.
