T.I. And Young Thug Reunite For “The Weekend” (Review & Stream)

Even till this day, “All About The Money” cranks.

T.I. is one of the first major artists to give Young Thug his shot at a legit radio hit with their collaboration on “All About The Money.” I think it’s safe to say that Thugger has surpassed ‘The King’ in relevancy these days, but that doesn’t mean T.I. still isn’t capable of playing a big brother type figure to him whenever they link up for music. In their newest single together titled “The Weekend,” the two ATLiens were able to create this mellow tune that has Tip sounding unbothered and Young Thug sounding like he’s ready to party until the sun comes up on both the hook and his verse. If you ask me, the song sorta has this old school/90’s type feel to it, a sound I thought was unique for the both of them
