Mike Will Made It Recruits Kendrick Lamar & Pharrell For “The Mantra” (Review & Stream)

Anything less than legendary for this song would’ve been disappointing.

Creed 2 is set to hit the theaters real soon, which means we need to start hearing some dope ass soundtrack music from it to make our black asses get dressed to go outside in the cold to go see it; “The Mantra” is a good start. The song features this hard-hitting/emotional trap instrumental by Mike Will Made It, this very melodic performance by Pharrell, and a pretty uplifting verse by Kendrick that starts off somber, but turns into this all out spazfest towards the end. When you combine all three, you get this dynamic hit that does everything from motivate to make you want to hop on your neighbors cars.

F**k what ya’ll thought, this s**t is hot as f**k
