Trey Songz Drops His Own Version Of Jill Scott’s “He Loves Me” In “JILL” (Review & Stream)

Remember when Trey Songz was a go-to R&B artist? Can we get back to those times?

Jill Scott’s “He Loves Me” is already all about its vibes, so when Trey Songz decided to flip it, I thought anything he achieved after would be considered house money. On his version of the song, he gives us his signature silky smooth vocals mixed with some pretty emotional ad-libs throughout. In other words, Trey sounds deep in his feelings on the track, which I’m hoping made him cut that awful haircut he was rocking for the last couple of months.
