Fetty Wap Gets Sentimental In “Hold On” (Review & Stream)

Has there been a dude in the rap game that has dropped more love songs than Fetty Wap?

Fetty Wap has actually been pretty consistent these last couple of months. It seems like every week he has dropped something new, and quite frankly, it’s been some pretty decent s**t. Today, the NJ native has decided to keep his streak going, releasing the very gentle-sounding “Hold On.”

I love the vibes attached to “Hold On!” The track features nothing but R&B feels, as Fetty Wap passionately sings over an instrumental that is probably meant for a 2005 R&B singer. No need to worry, though, Fetty actually does a pretty decent job of playing crooner on the song, gifting us with quite the melody and content so heartwarming that I teared up a little bit listening to it. Matter of fact, I think it’s safe to say that this is one of Fetty Wap’s better songs in a while.

I am predicting that Fetty is going to have a major 2019.
