Someone from Wu-Tang definitely should’ve been on the original version of this song.
I love the passion that revolves around the original version of “Bad,” especially when it comes to Nicole Bus’s vocals. However, what I’ve always felt was missing from the track was gritty raps, which today, Ghostface Killah was able to provide.
On “Bad (Remix),” Ghostface spits bars ferociously, doing his best to convince Nicole that he’s an OG that she should follow in the streets. As usual, I love the unorthodox approach he uses on his verses, in addition to how raw he sounds throughout.
Imagine killing an instrumental that you killed 20 years ago again…
