Wale is 2019’s version of the love doctor.
If you’ve followed Wale’s career up to this point, you know that his most popular singles have been on some R&B s**t. Knowing this, the DMV native decided to drop a new tune titled “On Chill” featuring Jeremih, and on it, we are treated to something smooth, romantic and a bit grungy. Though I admit that I learned nothing from any of Jeremih or Wale’s lyrics on this song (I’m married) , I WAS feeling the former’s passionate hook, and the latter’s honest approach to telling his women how he feels about her on his rap verses.
Wale spits harder when he’s in love with someone.
