It sounds like Tolen & Saint Crown are ready to claim themselves kings of their respective cities on this song.
Tolen is one of those musicians that uses his platform to motivate and inspire. In “On One,” one of his latest singles, he actually gives listeners an opportunity to see life through his carefree/unhinged lenses.
With the topic of “On One” revolving around understanding the trials and tribulations that go into being a musical artist, both Tolen and featured guest Saint Crown let loose, running through cities gassed up, indulging in the baddest of women and grinding until they can’t anymore. Personally, I enjoy the dark/hard-hitting instrumental that powers the song, the melody Tolen delivers throughout, Saint Crown’s relentless rapping approach on his lone verse, and the overall gritty/underdog feel you hear throughout.
Last time I was ‘on one,’ I got quite a good night of sleep!
