Raphael Saadiq & Kendrick Lamar Connect For “Rearview”

I can definitely see how Raphael Saadiq & Kendrick Lamar can be friends.

“Rearview” is cold, but at the same time, it has this level of liveliness to it that is glaring. On the track, Kendrick Lamar plays Raphael’s hype-man, delivering this thought-provoking hook that literally does everything in its power to make your mind think outside of the box. Eventually, Raphael takes the baton from Kendrick, delivering a few ghostly verses that flirts with both positivity and negativity.

This song is weird, but tough at the same time (How they do that (In my Allen Iverson from ‘Like Mike’ voice)!)
