Jacquees is looking to get cuffing season started earlier with this song.
Ya’ll can argue all you want on who the king of R&B is, but for me, it’s a no brainer that Jacquees is running the genre. Usually, when I click on a new song by him, I am satisfied with the quality of R&B I get. In “Piece Of Heaven,” s**t doesn’t change, as the 25-year old singer gifts us with something that is heartwarming lyrically, vocally impressive, catchy, and extremely melodic. The track also boasts this old school feel, giving me flashbacks to Jagged Edge’s heyday.
On some real s**t, “Round 2” is one of the most highly-anticipated albums this year.
