Ya’ll better start putting respect on Brandy’s name!
Having a sister that thought Brandy was a Greek God growing up prepared me to see her as at least a legendary figure. Well, it’s been seven years since she’s last released an album, so this generation may not feel the same way about her. Today, Brandy decided to make her triumphant return to the music scene with “Freedom Rings,” and on it, she pours her heart out about feeling both uplifted and spirited (Good for her).
I love how powerful “Freedom Rings” sounds (I enjoy Brandy’s passionate singing, the riveting instrumental that powers the song, and the 40 year old’s deep lyrics). While listening to the song, I caught the holy ghost like three or four times.
