21 Savage’s interpretation of being triggered is a lot scarier than Jhene Aiko’s interpretation.
I love the openness Jhene Aiko shows in her music! With that being said, in “Triggered,” I felt like the California native was able to create a spicy hit that anyone who’s dealt with a bi-polar relationship can relate to. In the remix to the song, 21 Savage and Summer Walker both give the world their versions of being triggered, and surprisingly, 21 spits vulnerable bars about being in his feelings and falling for a chick that buys him guns (Yikes), while Summer echoes the same sentiments as Jhene (Literally… Mater of fact, you won’t even know she’s on this song).
Is 21 Savage’s verse on this song dedicated to Amber Rose? (Hmm)
