Before August Alsina started having major health issues, I saw him as a great R&B singer. Not only is his voice outstanding, but he also has this level of trillness attached to his music that is hard to ignore. Today, the New Orleans native decided to make his triumphant return to the music scene with Today — an explosive track that features humbling lyrics, soulful vocals, and flows that your favorite singer’s favorite singer might struggle coming up with. In other words, Today is a quick little reminder to folks that August is the real deal!
