Better Part Of Me is an upbeat/catchy song that showcases Alex Julia’s outstanding singing abilities. It’s also the type of song that will make you evaluate the type of people you let into your life.
The lyrics in Better Part Of Me speaks to Alex’s journey of becoming a strong/ independent woman. The rhythm of the guitar you hear on the song is very reminiscent of the folksy tradition of Tracy Chapman. When you combine the two sounds together, what you will realize is that Alex’s knack for making organic music is a refreshing break from the heavily-automated songs that we have become used to these days.
