3. 2020 VISION
If you didn’t become a Young M.A. believer after hearing her verse on Eminem’s “Unaccomodating” song, you must not love hip-hop. In my opinion, the way she takes full command of the song with punchlines that are clever and wordplay that is lowkey great is beyond impressive. “2020 Vision” keeps the same energy as “Unaccommodating,” as it boasts a dark club-inspired beat and tons of savage/sly/competitive/inspirational/gangsta bars by M.A.
2. SAVAGE MODE
Something about “Savage Mode” feels off, to me. Whatever the case may be, I still f**k with the song.
Young M.A. feels herself so much on “Savage Mode,” I wouldn’t be surprised if she got off. Seriously, throughout the song, she brags like an asshole about doing h*es bad and putting Fugazi n***as in their places. For the most part, I am a fan of M.A. when she sounds like she’s f**king around, but on this particular instance, she went overkill with that s**t.
1. ANGELS VS. DEMONS
“Angels Vs. Demons” will remind you that Young M.A. is one of the realest rappers in the game.
As tough as Young M.A. is, I love it when she gets vulnerable in her music. On “Angels Vs. Demons,” she raps rawly about her murdered brother, her relationship issues, her come-up, and her street loyalties. While I can do without the hook she drops on the song, I absolutely love how she puts her head down and straight-up raps.

OVERALL RATING
(D+)
This EP isn’t good. The beats on it sound low quality, Young M.A.’s reckless lyrics sound more annoying than appealing, and her hooks sound slightly amateur. Strangely, the EP also feels long even though it only boasts seven tracks. Nonetheless, if you are someone who loves clever punchlines and hood-certified lyrics, you will at least find the RED FLU stomachable.
