“The Warped Glimmer” is off of Vivian’s latest album.
Vivian is a dream-pop duo made up of Alana Rolfe and Tim Massa. The two musicians worked together in a previous band, so they are familiar with one another’s skills.Â
“The Warped Glimmer” is such a unique song. On it, Rolfe sings about once having everything she wanted and watching it disappear in front of her eyes. This is not only a feeling that we can all relate to but it is also a feeling that inevitably touches all aspects of life (Especially love). True to the genre ‘dream pop,’ “The Warped Glimmer” has pop elements but with an electric/alternative twist.
