G-Eazy & Mulatto Go Off On “Down”

DOWN

G-Eazy & Mulatto

OVERALL RATING  (??????)

G-Eazy is back to his scumbag ways.

I erased Everything’s Strange Here from my memory right after I listened to it. I appreciate G-Eazy’s willingness to experiment, but at the end of the day, I don’t think that the music on that album is good at all. On “Down,” the Bay Area rapper decided to go back to doing what he does best — rapping!

“Down” is a 2020 strip-club anthem. The song features a beat that will make asses bounce, a verse by G-Eazy that will make gold diggers do something strange for a piece of change, and a verse by Mulatto in which she reminds the world that she’s the best thing since sliced bread. Both rappers sound hella gassed up and cocky.

G-Eazy had a reverse exorcism done on him.
