French Montana & Benny The Butcher Put On For NY On “Wave Blues”

WAVE BLUES

French Montana & Benny The Butcher

OVERALL RATING (??????????)

French Montana and Benny The Butcher go off on this song!

In a few weeks, French Montana will release a brand new project called Coke Boys 5. Today, the first single from the project, “Wave Blues,” hit streaming services.

“Wave Blues” is powered by two things: a dramatic/action-packed instrumental and nothing but gritty/street-certified lyrics. While most people will say that Benny The Butcher gave French Montana the business on the song, I actually think that the two rappers were equally as good (They both hit us with impressive flows and creative punchlines).

Listen to “Wave Blues” below.

Jacob Lusk Sounds Lovely on New Remix of Sam Smith’s “My Guy”

“My Guy” is a track on Sam Smith’s album Hazel Eyes, where Sam sings about a pure, secure love with their lover: their “guy.” This remix adds Jacob Lusk, and I have mixed feelings.

Gigi Perez is Mournful and Hopeful on New Song “Favor”

The music for Sunrise on the Reaping will really wreck us all emotionally before we even see the movie. On “Favor,” Gigi Perez sings a mournful ballad that perfectly evokes Lenore Dove’s character in Sunrise on the Reaping.

Lady A’s Faith Takes Center Stage On New “Bigger Picture”

Lady A’s new song “Bigger Picture” is overtly Christian, despite the group typically releasing secular country-pop. Lead singer Hillary Scott has always been open about her Christian faith, and it’s front and center on “Bigger Picture.” At the same time, everyone has something to gain from this song.
