Southside Yoko and G Perico hit a homerun with “Westside.”

The 757 doesn’t only breed fantastic football players, the area also breeds phenomenal musicians. One that you need to pay very close attention to is Southside Yoko. “Westside,” the Hampton-based artist’s latest single, is a smooth banger that will make you realize how good his ear for music is.

“Westside” is powered by a beat that will make you want to layout on the quietest beach in America. Over it, both Southside Yoko and G Perico remind the world how easygoing/exciting California is, especially when you have a woman by your side that is down to explore. What I love about the song is that it features rap verses by Yoko and Perico that straddle the line between trill and laid-back. I also love the infectious hook Southside Yoko blesses the song with.
