Kalel shows us his dark side on “Ready To Die.”
Kalel was put on this earth to spit bars. In all of the singles that I’ve heard by him, he raps with a level of craftiness that is hella impressive. With that being said, on Kalel’s latest single, “Ready To Die,” he puts on a show that is dark but masterful.
I absolutely love how riveting “Ready To Die” sounds. Since the song is powered by a beat that probably gags when holy water is spilled on it, you get a version of Kalel that is both sinister and focused. As for lyrically, he does a great job of painting a picture of a young man that is broken, ruthless, lonely, and possessed.
Even if you aren’t a fan of scary-sounding music, you have to appreciate the heart that Kalel raps with on “Ready To Die.” You also have to love how confident and fearless he sounds in the song.
