BigXthaPlug says he’s tired of you stragglers.
BigXthaPlug is preparing to release a new album called BETTER OVER TIME. What makes the timing interesting is that he will be dropping it while standing as one of the biggest rappers in the game. Even more intriguing, his latest single, “BURN,” suggests that he plans to continue experimenting with sounds beyond straightforward Texas rap.
The track runs on an extra-dramatic trap beat that becomes even bigger whenever Ava Max arrives. Her bold, soaring chorus gives the record a full pop-rap crossover feel without stripping away the toughness BigX brings to it.
Lyrically, BigX addresses being overly generous, recognizing the snakes around him, protecting his village, and refusing to let all his hard work go in vain. The message is ultimately about remaining solid and continuing forward when betrayal and adversity threaten to break you.
What I love most is how genuinely pissed BigX sounds. He attacks his verses with aggression and fire, delivering every bar like somebody recently gave him another reason to stop trusting people. That frustration makes the performance feel much more personal.
Ava Max brings the theatrical power, BigX brings the emotional weight, and the production connects both worlds. “BURN” is great.
